Return Policy — Physical Books
Eligible for Returns
- Books received in damaged condition
- Wrong book delivered
- Printing defects or missing pages
- Duplicate items received
Not Eligible for Returns
- Books that show signs of reading, folding, or marking
- Books returned after the 7-day window
- Damage caused by the customer after delivery
- Sealed/sealed-pack books that have been opened (special editions)
How to Request a Return
- Go to your Order History
- Find the order containing the book you'd like to return
- Email us at info@bookzcart.in with your order number and reason
- We'll review your request within 24 hours and provide return instructions
- Ship the book back to us (we'll provide the return address)
Refund Policy
Physical Books
Once we receive and inspect the returned book, we'll process your refund within 3-5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Damaged/wrong item: Full refund including shipping charges
- Change of mind: Product amount refunded; shipping charges are non-refundable
Digital Products (eBooks)
Due to the nature of digital content, eBook purchases are generally non-refundable once you've accessed the content. However, we will issue a refund if:
- The eBook file is corrupted or unreadable
- You were charged multiple times for the same purchase
- The content significantly differs from the description
Cancellations
You can cancel an order before it has been shipped. Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — but you can request a return after delivery.
To cancel an order, email us with your order number as soon as possible. Cancellation refunds are processed within 2-3 business days.
Exchanges
We currently don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different book, please return the original and place a new order. We'll prioritize processing both the return and the new order.
